Refrigeration and air conditioning technologies are key elements of our world. The BITZER Group has been making a contribution with innovative products and services for 86 years. Our products maintain the optimum temperatures on buses, trains and in buildings and ensure food stays fresh at all times on its way to you. Perfection and precision shape our operations – and efficiency and sustainability our way of thinking. With specialist skills and lots of passion, we promote development in compressor technology and, in this way, fulfil our responsibility as a market leader.

Senator h. c. Peter Schaufler, CEO of BITZER, established THE SCHAUFLER FOUNDATION in 2005, which will continue his life’s work – uniting entrepreneurship, vocational training and university teaching with research, science and art.

In terms of science and research, the support focuses on refrigeration and air conditioning technology with the aim of protecting the environment sustainably. Art and culture, primarily from the 20th and 21st centuries are promoted by a public museum: The SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen.

THE SCHAUFLER FOUNDATION is a member of the Association of German Foundations.

In 2016, BITZER opened its international training centre at the Rottenburg-Ergenzingen site in Germany: the SCHAUFLER Academy, named in honour of Senator h. c. Peter Schaufler, who owned the company for many years. It enables application-oriented training courses under realistic system conditions and, with its wide-ranging program of seminars, makes an important contribution to the training of specialists in the refrigeration and air-conditioning sectors.

Dates of individual training courses can be found at the following link:

Founded in 1918, Dorin is active in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning since 1932. Our products are manufactured according to the best mechanical and craft practices, at the very pursuit of our founder’s motto: “The main thing is that our products are always perfect (Mario Dorin).”
After over 95 years of history, today Dorin is a consolidated industry, known throughout the world and continues to grow. Thanks to the decades-long and ongoing commitment to research, our solutions provide maximum energy saving and efficiency and are designed around the needs of customers,
with the assistance of professionals in engineering, finance and marketing.

Quality of the single components
To ensure efficiency, reliability and robustness, Dorin subjects, as by tradition, the components to rigorous testing to ensure they conform to specific quality standards.

Quality of the production cycle

Each phase of the production cycle is subjected to constant controls, according to the Quality System ISO9001-2008 certificate by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.

Thanks to the continuous innovation of processes, the production cycle in Dorin allows a high level of customization of products, without ever losing sight of cost-effectiveness and productivity.

The quality of the entire production in Dorin is guaranteed by compliance with EN ISO 9001.
Each stage of production and each compressor assembly is subjected to rigorous and continuous controls, in accordance with the Quality System ISO9001-2008 certificate by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (Certificate No. 170 322 LRC).
All compressors are designed and manufactured in accordance with the applicable European Directives: EN 292 – 1/2, EN 294, EN 60204, prEN 349, EN 60529, IEC 336-1, IEC 335-2-34. II CE mark on the nameplate of each compressor and the related Declarations of Conformity certify the compliance.
Dorin production is granted in total accordance with NAtional Regulation for Security and Health on Working places in conformity to norm OHSAS 18001:2007.

ATEX-certified solutions for a sustainable future

In a context of increasing focus on decarbonisation, Frascold is promoting the energy transition with a complete series of ATEX-certified reciprocating compressors. Designed for heat pumps destined for the industrial and residential sectors, in the latter they play a key role in medium/low temperature applications, with water temperatures up to 60°C.

In this scenario, semi-hermetic compressors prove to be a reliable and proven solution, proving to be the ideal choice for the design of heat pumps and chillers with propane, characterised by a heating or cooling capacity of 50 to 200 kW. Frascold’s ATEX reciprocating series has a volumetric flow rate of 4 to 240 m³/h and electric power ratings from 0.5 to 80 HP. These compressors can also be used in cascade systems or, alternatively, using waste heat to power the entire system, favouring a higher efficiency and circularity of resources.

The choice of the ideal refrigeration fluid for each application is the result of an appropriate balance among several factors, such as efficiency, safety, easy utilisation, sustainability, performance, costs and the availability of the gas in the market, in addition to its suitability for the specific application. The F-gas regulation, the Protocol of Kigali, as well as the standards adopted at domestic level are encouraging the industry towards an always more encompassing adoption of refrigeration fluids with low GWP – Global Warming Potential. In this sense, Frascold is acting in this direction by supporting investments in Research and Development with the purpose of creating added value for the Customers.

LU-VE Group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of air heat exchangers.

The Group (HQ in Uboldo, Varese, Italy) consists of 20 manufacturing facilities in 9 countries: Italy, China, Czech Republic, India, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Finland and USA with a network of more than 30 sales offices in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and USA. The Group stands on solid pillars: Humility, Passion, Brain and Values.

You can find LU-VE Group products everywhere in your everyday life: in the beer dispensers in your local pub, in the refrigerated counters in the supermarkets where you do your shopping, in the fridges of the ice cream parlour downtown, and in the wine cabinets and coolers of your favourite restaurant. LU-VE Group operates mainly in the following markets: commercial and industrial refrigeration, air conditioning, industrial cooling and data center cooling.

Ahead of the market since 1986, LU-VE Group has adopted policies of avant-garde research and development and respect for the fundamental principles of environmental protection: reduced energy consumption, reduced use of refrigerant fluid, low noise levels, high reliability over time, reduced dimensions.

LU-VE Group was amongst the first to focus on the replacement of F-Gases (fluorinated greenhouse gases), ahead of the market, which today increasingly focuses on the use of natural refrigerants (CO2, hydrocarbons, and ammonia) with low or no impact on the ozone layer or greenhouse effect. LU-VE Group has a wide range of Commercial and industrial unit coolers and condensers, optimized for the use of natural refrigerants.

LU-VE standout quality is backed by reliable and guaranteed performance, certified by Eurovent.

In 2000, LU-VE was the first company in Europe to achieve the then new, important, “Eurovent Certify All” certification for the entire ranges of condensers, dry coolers and industrial unit coolers.

In 2016, Eurovent certified that the LU-VE heat exchangers for refrigeration had never registered a single negative test in the course of three different test cycles (from 2011 to 2015), for a MFV (Mean Failure Value: average value of tests with negative outcome) equal to zero.

In 2020, among the very first companies to obtain Eurovent Certification for CO2 unit coolers. In 2022, among the very first companies to obtain Eurovent Certification for CO2 gas coolers.
